We went to Cape Cod during the first week of the month! Here are all of our recap posts in case you missed it (and you definitely missed some important news):
Wedding update! Soooo, without giving too much away right now, all I can say is that we do have a date set at a venue, and we got the ball rolling on planning everything. I want to wait until we get more set in stone before sharing anything specific—it’s exciting but a bit scary at the same time. We also took engagement pictures this past weekend with one of my good friends who does photography on the side. That made things seem actually real.
Dressed up, and well, somewhere to go. Josh was nominated for a regional Emmy at work, so the day after we got home from the Cape we went out to Boston for the award ceremony. Unfortunately, he didn’t win, but I heard it’s just an honor to be nominated. I like to go as his plus one because I can rent a fancy dress and see his news co-workers. Then a few weekends later, we went to a wedding for one of my friends/co-workers. The ceremony was outside overlooking a cliff, and they had beautiful weather for the day.
Other things!:
- My parents, two family friends, and I went to a Hartford Yard Goats game. Josh was supposed to come but had to cover a shift that weekend. The game was fun and mostly talked about engagement things. (That’s pretty much been my entire month.)
- Josh and I saw Toy Story 5 together after touring the wedding venue. We both agreed that it was alright but probably the weakest of the five movies. It’s one you can wait until it’s on Disney+ to watch.
