Where We Went
Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf. This was a repeat favorite from last year. There are two courses, so since we did Blackbeard’s Course last year, we did the Captain’s Course this year. Not only did I win, but I also got a hole-in-one!!!

Downtown Hyannis. Since the jewelry store we went to in Harwich Port wasn’t open when we were there, I wanted to stop into Cape Cod Jewelers in Hyannis to purchase a Cape Cod bracelet. It’s just a certain style of bracelet, and I knew girls in high school who had them; they’re a bit expensive but I wanted to treat myself since I wasn’t sure when we’ll be back to the Cape. (We definitely want to go back but have other places on our list we want to visit, too.) I wanted to go into the store to get fitted since I wasn’t sure of my wrist size, and the employee who helped me was really great.
Airbnb. Before and after mini golf and lunch, I sat outside and read while Josh gamed on his laptop. I ended up finishing One to Watch; 5 stars! We also went for another walk after dinner and watched CohhCarnage before I went to bed.
What We Ate + Drank
Breakfast: Made at the Airbnb. We slept in until after 9:00 am since we got home late the night before, so we did an easy breakfast of eggs, toast, and yogurt with fruit. One thing we really liked about the Airbnb is that it had a kitchen so we were able to make some meals there.

Lunch: Old King’s Coffeehouse. Another cute cafe for breakfast and lunch! I got a caprese sandwich, and Josh got a breakfast burrito.
Dinner: Oak Bay Brewery. The brewery is sort of tucked away off the main street area in Hyannis, and we had noticed it last year (we had gone to dinner at a restaurant across the street) and I made sure we were able to go there this year. I got a flight, and Josh got a beer, and we got dinner there too—pork sliders, one of their specials. Surprisingly, one of my favorites from my flight was called Hyport Heatwave, which was made with honey and had an ancho pepper spice at the end; it wasn’t super spicy but just enough.

Ice cream: Cape Cod Creamery. I got cake batter (I forget the actual name of the flavor), and Josh got Truro Turtle.
