Where We Went
Kayaking with RideAway Adventures. We were so looking forward to this! RideAway has a few locations in the Cape, and the one we went to was in Sandwich. Josh and I were renting a tandem kayak—mostly because Josh didn’t trust me in my own kayak (not to get lost or float away)—and we were going out on a guided tour in the marsh.
It ended up being just us and the tour guide, which turned out to be great. He was awesome! As we paddled along, he shared facts about the marsh, the environment, and the animals in the area. We kayaked out an hour to the beach by the bay, where we were able to get out and walk around for a bit, before we kayaked back to where we started.

Josh told the guide we had gotten engaged two days before, and I joked and said kayaking was the second-best thing we did on vacation.

Titcomb’s Bookshop. This was a stop on the way back through Sandwich after lunch. I got Into the Blue by Emma Brodie.
What We Ate + Drank
Breakfast: made at the Airbnb. Eggs, toast, and yogurt with fruit again.
Lunch: Tree House Brewing. We went here for a late lunch after kayaking since we were already in Sandwich. We each got a beer and split a margherita pizza.

Dinner: Brax Landing. For our last dinner in the Cape, we decided to treat ourselves. Since we had a late lunch, we went for a bit later dinner but still managed to snag a waterfront table on the deck outside. I got fish and chips, and Josh got grilled shrimp pesto.
Ice cream: Cape Cod Creamery. I got Chapin Cherry Chocolate, and Josh got Sandbar Swirl.
