Seven Facts About Me

  1. I eat each of my foods one by one. It’s something my dad and I both do, but not my mom. So if we’re having chicken, potatoes, and a vegetable for dinner, I eat the chicken first, then the potatoes, and then the vegetables. I don’t mix my food together; I don’t have an issue with it touching, though. (As long as it doesn’t get too messy.)
  2. I don’t like coffee. I like the smell of it, but I haven’t found a coffee yet that I like. So, instead, I drink a lot of tea.
  3. Along those lines, I always have a water bottle with me at all times. I’ve been doing it for years, and most of what I drink is water (followed by tea and beer).
  4. I work in the marketing department at the university where I got both of my degrees. I left for two years while I was at my first job, but I’m glad I’m back on campus.
  5. My favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip.
  6. I’m reading my 12th book so far this year. I think that puts me ahead of schedule to read 30 books this year.
  7. I can wiggle my ears.

  1. Thanks for the nomination! I’ll have to come up with some facts that people don’t know about me yet haha!

    I can’t wiggle my ears…I wish I could! I’m jealous! Haha

  2. I definitely don’t have the patience to eat my food one by one. In fact, I hate eating just one thing by itself because I find it boring and wish there was something else I could switch to lol.

I can wiggle my ears as well. This friendship is slowing digging out of the shambles category haha

      • Is there a reason you don’t mix foods? Is it just not wanting to taste two things at once, or is it a need to finish one thing before moving on to the next?

      • I don’t think that foods should be mixed. Like I’d never take a bite of chicken, then a bite of potatoes, and then the beans. That just doesn’t seem right. I’d rather finish what I started. There are a very very limited amount of things I’ll “mix”. My mom makes shredded chicken in a gravy with mashed potatoes, so I’ll kind of mix those, but that’s as far as I’ll go.

  3. Thanks for the nomination! I’ll have to get working on more facts about me that aren’t already on my list of 100… Might take me a few days to get to it. I, too, dislike the taste of coffee, but I do love the smell. And on the subject of food mixing… How do you feel about casseroles?

    • You’re welcome! 🙂 I’m fine with casseroles, like that’s purposely mixed. But if I have three separate things on my plate, I’m eating them one at a time, not taking bites of each thing. That just doesn’t seem right.

    • You’re welcome! 🙂 Okay so I’m sensing a pattern here with everyone’s answers that those who eat foods one at a time aren’t the outliers, like I thought we were haha. Granted this is a small sample size but I’m starting to think that not everyone is a food mixer, like I assumed.
