For February being the shortest month of the year, it felt like it dragged on forever. But we’re finally at the last day of the month. It brought with it our first significant snowstorm of the winter. I stayed home today; I like when it snows but I absolutely hate driving in it. Here’s the view from my living room and bedroom of the snow behind my condo!

Josh and I watched the Super Bowl at home this year, and of course, I wrote my pre- and post-Super Bowl series. I could eat that spinach and artichoke dip every day for the rest of my life.

I guess since Josh isn’t moving out any time soon, it was time for us to get actual office furniture for him. I ended up giving him my desk and bought myself a new desk and bought him the same chair that I use. Our routine on Fridays has become him playing his online games while I work from home. We do our own things, but having someone else there with me is nice.

Josh and I celebrated Valentine’s Day together, exchanging gifts on the 14th and then going out for dinner on the 17th—to the brewery where we had our first date. We had gone back around our 6-month anniversary, but it was crazy to go back there now, a year and a half into our relationship and now living together. Only if we could go back to those versions of us in June 2021 and tell them what was coming.

The theater group I volunteer with performed The Bridges of Madison County this month, and I went to the show last Saturday night. They also put on a Black History Month concert in the middle of the month, and everyone was incredibly talented.

Running/Exercise/Whatever

I’ve been on a good routine of riding the stationary bike three times a week, and I even ran once—the first time since November. It’s just hard when it’s winter in New England to feel motivated to work out.

Sports

It’s that awkward time of the year between when football ends and baseball season starts. So I don’t have much to report on the sports front, aside from my pre- and post-Super Bowl series that I linked to above.
