Co-workers: Work’s been slow lately but also chaotic in its own way. Sometimes I get too wrapped up in my own head and don’t realize that we’re all kind of going through the same thing. It’s nice to know that you’re all in the same boat, and that you can rely on one another. We “kids”—the five of us under thirty in the office—went out for pizza and beer at one of my client’s places Thursday night, something we try to do every couple months. It’s nice to hang out outside of the office.

Photoshop: Within the last month or so, I’ve self-taught myself Photoshop Creative Cloud, and I’m so proud of myself. We have access to Lynda.com at work, which is a bunch of videos on everything related to business/marketing through LinkedIn, so I watched a basic tutorial and I’m working through a set of design course videos now. I’m amazed at all the cool things you can make, and I’m not going to become a graphic designer anytime soon, but it’s good to know the basics.

Nice weather: It’s looking like New England is finally getting its act together and giving us seasonable weather. It’s going to be sunny and in the 50s this weekend, and it’s supposed to be in the 60s all next week. I’m tired of the rain/snow/sleet and cold we’ve been dealing with.

What I’m Reading: I finished “Keep Her Safe” by KA Tucker and really really liked it. She has a new book coming out later this year that I can’t wait to read. I started reading “The Queen of Hearts” by Kimmery Martin. I went against the old “Don’t judge a book by its cover” thing because I love the cover of this book. I’m ~5 chapters in, and so far I like it. (Keep up with what I’m reading on Goodreads!)

What I’m Watching: I FINALLY finished Mindhunter, and halfway through watching the first season, I found out my dad watched it last fall, so I vented to him about it after finishing the last episode. I’m hoping to get a review up soon, because I have a few things to say about it.

What I’m Listening To: I’m back on my Brunch binge. I still highly recommend.
