I feel like I blinked and the month was over. January always drags on, but February seems to go by faster—does the less amount of days make a difference? Who knows.

Cannoli continues to be the bestest girly ever. She’s been with us about a month and a half now, and I think the three of us are finally in a good daily routine. She’s a snuggle bug with a sassy personality, and we’re so happy she’s with us. She had her first vet appointment earlier in the month, and she did great. Her babies also got adopted this week! They were in the cat cafe when she was there, and the two of them went home together.

Another Springfield Thunderbirds game! Josh and I went together this time, and we made it a date night and got dinner beforehand. The Thunderbirds played as the Springfield Ice-O-Topes, which is related to The Simpsons. They won 3–2 against the Providence Bruins.
New England continues to get more snow, and it’s never going to melt. Earlier this week, we had a blizzard that dropped probably 8-9 inches in town, on top of whatever was already left over from the snowstorm at the end of January. We’re going to be buried until the summer. But Cannoli loves her new tower we got her and spent most of the day watching the snow.

Miscellaneous:
- The theater group I volunteer with performed Chess this month. I went to one of their dress rehearsals to get videos. From what I saw, it looked really good—there is a ton of music throughout the show—but it’s my least favorite type of musical: one that’s mostly just sung through.
- I finished up my first dance class session of the year, and we’ll pick back up next week at the start of March. I’m so glad I decided to start going back in 2024—it’s a great workout, I like everyone in the class, and it’s an excuse to leave the house once a week.
- I went to the library for the first time in forever this month. (I keep buying books…) I made a list before going, and I was able to get all of the ones I wanted. Thankfully, this weather makes it easy to stay in and read.
- For the first time in four years, I bought new running sneakers. Josh’s best friend’s sister works at a local running store, so I went when she was working to have her help me out. I got these ones! They’re great so far for the few runs I’ve done.
