Where We Went
Cuffy’s of Cape Cod. For the life of me, I can’t remember how exactly I found Cuffy’s, but I’m so glad I did. (Maybe Instagram?) It’s a tourist-y shopping center with all of the Cape Cod swag you could ever dream of. I got myself a hoodie, hat, and magnet, and some stuff for my parents; Josh got a zip-up hoodie and the cutest t-shirt for his niece. (I was so excited when I realized that we can get her tiny, little shirts from our trips!)

Cape Cod Rail Trail and Brewster Cycle Center. I think this was one of the things I was most excited about on our vacation. The trail is 25 miles long through six towns, and our plan was to rent bikes and go out riding on the trail. I found a bicycle center in Brewster that’s located right on the trail where you can rent bikes by the hour.
The guy at the shop was great and easily got us set up with bikes, baskets, and helmets, and we were on our way. We ended up going seven miles out and seven miles back in just under two hours. I didn’t want to go out too far, and I had to use my inhaler, especially because of a few hills (there was a bridge that went up over a highway). We had perfect weather for the ride: sunny, slightly breezy, and around 70 degrees. And no sunburns!

What We Ate + Drank

Breakfast: The Breakfast Room. This was definitely a mom and pop place, which are our favorite breakfast restaurants. The decor was strong country vibes. I think the owner was the one who waited on us, and she was saying hi to all of the regulars/locals while we were there. Josh got the Irish eggs Benedict, and I got banana bread French toast. Both were so good!
Lunch: Made at the Airbnb. We brought supplies to make sandwiches and chips, just something easy and quick before our afternoon adventure.
Dinner: Anejo. This was a cute Mexican restaurant in downtown Hyannis! We got there after 5:00 p.m. and easily got a table inside. I got a mango margarita, and Josh got a Dos Equis beer. For dinner, I got fish tacos, and Josh got a variety of enchiladas; we were also brought some chips and salsa to snack on.

Cape Cod Creamery. Trip two of three! I got Chappaquiddick Chocolate Chip, and Josh got Bass River Black Raspberry.
Other Notes
I started reading My Friends by Fredrik Backman during our break before lunch; I got it for my birthday and purposely saved it for vacation. After dinner, we went for another walk around the neighborhood and then watched Cohh play some more KCD.
