Spring allergies: Honestly, mine weren’t terrible this year. I scheduled my yearly follow-up with the allergist I saw last year; being on a prescription allergy med year-round definitely helped, along with lots of Flonase, keeping the windows closed, and carrying my air purifier from room to room. As of this past week, I think I’m in the clear. Finally.

Dance class: Because of scheduling, I only had two dance classes this month but going was still worth it. My mom keeps asking me when I’ll show her what I’m learning. We’ll see 😅 It’ll pick back up in June and hopefully over the summer.

I had to do adult things. This included a handful of doctor’s appointments, making sure a new prescription was sent to CVS, and having AAA come replace my car battery. Thankfully (!) it died while on my garage, so I wasn’t stuck anywhere; the guy who came was super nice and replaced the original battery in less than 15 minutes.

Work update: We’ve officially made it through Commencement season at work! The end of the spring semester is always busy, so once everything is over, it’s like a sigh of relief. Summer is usually slower for my department, which is nice after the hustle and bustle of January to May. Our summer Fridays started yesterday, too! Josh and I celebrated by having a breakfast date.

Hang outs and visits: I texted one of my good friends, “Is it rude to invite myself over to pet Holly?” (her dog). I guess it wasn’t rude because she let me come over to sit and pet Holly for a while. My mom also got to meet my niece! Josh’s sister and the little nugget came over to our condo, and my mom met us here for an afternoon. It’s crazy how fast she (my niece) is growing!

I celebrated my 31st birthday: I’m still in denial that I’m in my 30s, but I guess I’ll eventually get over it. Josh and I took an afternoon trip to Mystic, CT, and then went to my parents for a Memorial Day/birthday BBQ.
