Life
Based on the only blog posts I published this month, you’d think we just went to Cleveland, Ohio and that’s it. Well, I mean, we did go to Cleveland (to find out why LeBron wanted to leave so badly):

I spent the week after we got back from Cleveland sick. At first, I thought it was because we did a lot of traveling and I didn’t sleep well but then it turned into a cold? And then I was fine? Thankfully Josh didn’t get sick, and I was feeling better after about a week or so.

Josh was nominated for a regional Emmy at work, so we went to the ceremony the day after we got back from Cleveland (what timing). He didn’t win in his category but it was a fun excuse to get all dressed up.
Movie date night! We went to see Inside Out 2 and it was super cute.

Cabinet update! The third section is finally done! I started this section back in the middle of May but got derailed because of my birthday, Cleveland, and being sick. Josh helped me yesterday hang up the doors, which was a bit sad because we got so used to having “open shelving” for the drinkware and dish cabinets. The final section is the lower cabinets underneath, and hopefully, that will be done by the end of July. I’m planning to do a full recap post of my entire cabinet painting journey once they’ll fully complete.
Things not pictured:
- Josh and I went to his cousin’s graduation party, which was going well until a thunderstorm rolled through and we were outside at a pavilion. We survived, but for a few brief moments I thought, well, this is it; I’ve had a good run.
- We went on an ice cream date to celebrate the three year anniversary of our first date.
- Went home for Father’s Day and then went home again a week later to finally wash, wax, and vacuum out my SUV.
- A lot of TV watching, which you’ll see below.
“Exercise”?
Another month without running. It’s been hot and thunderstorm-y here all month, and also I’m just not in the mood to run. I’ve gone on a few walks when it hasn’t been gross out, but that’s about it. I still have my weekly dance class which is fun—and we got to do cartwheels in class last week! I was like, “This is the only thing I will get right in class today.”
