Life

I spent most of the month suffering from seasonal allergies, so I didn’t get out much or really feel like doing much. It also made the month seem like it was dragging on? I called an allergist and made an appointment for July to hopefully get some help. For the past few weeks, though, I’ve been able to go outside and have the windows open. Small wins, folks.

Cabinet update! One side is completely done!! The project has been on hold for the past few weeks because I’ve been busy, but I’m hoping to pick back up with it after we get back from our vacation next week. I’m really happy with how that side came out and can’t wait for both sides to be finished. And to stop living in what looks like the paint section at Home Depot.

I, reluctantly, turned 30, which I talked about in this post, and here’s my recap of the weekend if you missed it. I’m grateful for the people in my life who celebrated with me and made it a pretty good weekend, so I can’t complain too much.

Things not pictured:

• Hung out with some friends from the theater group for one of their birthdays and saw Kinky Boots (the organization’s May show)
• Too many hours spent planning our Cleveland trip

“Exercise”?

I didn’t run at all this month but was able to get out for a few walks once I got control of my allergies. I had my weekly dance class, though, which I always look forward to. For the class before my birthday, I requested a song to be used in celebration (“Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa).
