Three Things About Me:

  1. I recently self-taught myself Adobe Photoshop.
  2. I’ve never broken a bone but did sprain my ankle three years ago.
  3. My favorite movie is Little Miss Sunshine.

Liz’s Questions:

  1. If you could invite anyone over for dinner, who would it be and why? Can “anyone” be an entire baseball team, like the Red Sox? If not, I guess I would invite Tim Wakefield, a former knuckleball pitcher who played for the Sox. He was one of my favorite players growing up, and he looks like my dad.
  2. What’s something you wear or keep with you every day and why? I wear my Fitbit every day and even at night when I sleep. I wear it every day since it counts my steps and reminds me at ten minutes before each hour to get up and get 250 steps in. Plus I get text and call notifications on it.
  3. What’s a book you recommend everybody read? You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero. I read it over a year ago and loved it—even marking up sections and quotes that I liked. I might break it out again soon for some reassurance. It’s a self-help book without being too self-helpy.
  4. Why is your best friend your best friend? I don’t really know if I have a best friend anymore. I guess that’s what happens when you graduate college and become an adult? But I’m pretty close with one of the girls at the ice cream shop and I’d say she’s probably close to a best friend. We have the same personalities and she’s always there for me to vent to.
  5. Do you believe in karma? I think so. I also believe in the universe, and I think sometimes karma and the universe work hand in hand.

My Nominees:

(Taking a tip from Liz, each link will bring you to the blogger’s last/most recent post.)

My Questions:

  1. When did something start out badly for you but in the end, it was great?
  2. What movie can you watch over and over without ever getting tired of?
  3. What “old person” things do you do?
  4. If someone narrated your life, who would you want to be the narrator?
  5. What artist or band do you always recommend when someone asks for a music recommendation?

Thanks again, Liz! 🙂

  1. Tim Wakefield! That’s a good answer. I feel like you’d have to invite his personal catcher Doug Mirabelli too. They seem inseparable.
Thanks for the nomination! By the way, I like the new blog layout. Very Red Sox-y.

    • Hahaha yes I guess I could invite Mirabelli, too. When he retired, that was a disaster because they had to find someone who could catch a knuckleball since Varitek couldn’t.

You’re welcome for the nomination! And thanks, I wanted to change it up a bit.

      • We had the same problem with RA Dickey, and therefore employed a backup catcher who couldn’t hit, which meant he only played when Dickey pitched, so we overworked an already injury prone Russell Martin. Oh those were the days…

  2. Oooo great questions!

And I love your answers – “can ‘anyone’ be an entire baseball team?” LMAO!

Also, I have no idea how you can sleep with a FitBit! When I had mine, I tried and I seriously felt like it was a handcuff all night 😛

    Thanks for the tag!

    • You’re welcome! My mom tried sleeping with her Fitbit on, too, and she didn’t like it. It doesn’t bother me at all, and I’ve become obsessed with seeing how much sleep I get and when I wake up during the night and all that stuff. To better explain why I’m so sleepy when I get up in the morning haha
