Last summer, the agency I work for did all of the marketing for the Westfield Air Show. We created their website, ran their social media, and designed banners, media passes, and posters. One of the other account managers handled the account, but all hands were on deck the weekend of the show.
I was lucky enough to get to bring my camera along and take some pretty awesome pictures.
On Friday, we went to see the Black Daggers parachute team. They jumped out of the plane with smoke on their heels so we could see them in the sky. After they landed, all of the kids in attendance got to help them pack up their parachutes.
Then on Saturday, I was at the Air Force base at 6:00 a.m. before gates opened. Every member on the base was so nice and welcoming—and had strong handshakes, which I appreciate.
Our job during the show was to take pictures of the static displays and aerial shows and update the social media pages.
Here are just a few of my favorite shots:
(This is my absolute favorite picture I took.)
The Air Show was my first one, and it was awesome to see all of the planes and how excited everyone was. I’m just glad I was able to be a part of it.
